development of agriculture, forestry, fisheries. These conditions are suitable
for the development of tropical and temperate crops, highland specialty trees such
as San Tuyet tea, cardamom, cinnamon ... In the area, stable cattle herd
farming and Aquaculture area is over 39,000 ha.
Along with the beautiful natural
landscape such as Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai-
300 km from the northwest of Hanoi) , Moc Chau (Son La), Sapa (Lao Cai).. , the
traditional culture of the ethnic groups is also prominent in tourism resources
here. Northwest is inhabited by many ethnic minorities with a large and
rich cultural space. Many ethnic groups still preserve their traditional
cultural identity in customs, habits, festivals, costumes, musical instruments,
folk songs and traditional dances or in community behavior, house architecture,
markets, etc. North West cuisine features different characteristics compared to
other areas, are attractive tourist attractions for visitors to explore and experience.
