Quang Ninh Will Start a $2.7 Billion Project Chain in Van Don
Quang Ninh is expected to start a series of large scale tourism and service complex.

In
order to create the foundation for the successful construction of a special
administrative-economic unit of Van Don, deputy head of the Quang Ninh Economic
Zone Management Board, Hoang Trung Kien said that investors is expected to
start the chain of a large-scale, high-class tourism service complex with a
total invested capital of VND 61,000 billion (US$ 2.7 billion) in Van Don
island district in 2018.
These
are:
Sonasea
Dragon Bay Tourism Complex consists of 5 functional separated zones with
ecotourism products and island resorts, its scale is 94 ha in Ha Long commune
with total invested capital of nearly VND5,000 billion of CEO Group;

Furama Resort & Villas project invested by Cat Van Hai Joint Stock Company
(Viglacera Corporation) with the invested capital of over VND 1,120 billion for
a scale of 5 star hotel .

The project of Van Don's tourism complex and heritage road includes nine
functional separated zones (diverged 1), which are invested by Mai Quyen
Single-Member Limited Liability Company and its partners with investment
capital estimated at VND 5,000 billion .

The project of luxury resort and recreation complex at Ngoc Vung Island,
researched by FLC Group, has a total investment capital of around VND 46,000
billion;
- An
investment project in seaport and urban area in the northern Cai Bau with a
total estimated investment capital of about VND 3,500 billion implemented by
MBland Corporation.
These
projects, which have completed in combination with other projects, have been
completed by the province in late 2017 and early 2018, such as the Hai Phong -
Ha Long - Van Don expressway system. Van Don International Airport and resort
complex with casinos of the Sun Group Group ... will create a new look, solid
foundation conditions to build successfully special economic- administrative
units of Van Don.
